We ordered our RV from Thor in July 2017. After waiting 4 months, we finally took delivery November 2017.

On a recent trip, we found out that the topper awning on the slide out is 6" too short. It does not cover the slide out completely. Consequently, when it rained, the top of the slide out got flooded. Since the warranty is over by four months, Thor is refusing to fix it.

They say it is the correct topper. Since we had not taken it out in the rain until now, we did not realize it had the wrong topper on the slide out. The Thor certified service center says it is 6" too short. We feel this is not a warranty issue, since it is a manufacture/assembly error.

We have been getting the run around at Thor for 4 weeks, and now they state they will not correct their error. Every time we call Thor, we talk to the same person, Jason Treadway, who acts like he has never heard from us.

The cost of the correct topper is $332.89 with labor of $298.00. The cost we paid for the RV is in excess of $150,000.00.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $631.

Preferred solution: pay to replace the slide out topper awning with the correct size 270".
