Exterior finish deteriorerating

the rear driers side the finish is deteriorating it is a 2017 4 winds camper repair does not believe it is sun fading. Very dull clear cote gone even paste wax cannot restore

Thor Industries - Query about waste & grey water tanks for 5th Wheel
Hi, I own a Thor Jazz 2008 model ( 2960 RLDU ) Fifth wheel in Australia. I'm having problems with cracks on the corners off my black & grey waste tanks, leaking when they get to 2/3 full. Have you still got available these tanks in stock, for purchase ? I have tried to seal them from the exterior with different methods, but have failed so far. Would you have any solutions to repairs or products, that will adhere to the tanks ? From your experiences over there is it possible to replace the tanks on site, re. inlet and outlet pipes ? I believe it is very hard to get products to adhere to the type of plastic tank. I also have the Sani-flush system connected to the black tank. Oh by the way, I'M very happy with my 5th Wheel and not emailing over the Pissed consumer term. Looking forward to your response. Cheers Ross

User's recommendation: This fault has occurred because of road conditions in Australia over a period of 10 years. I imagine the road conditions in the US are a lot smoother. Undulating road conditions cause a lot off twisting in the chassis frame.

2018 Thor Miramar 35.2 Piece of #*@&

Bought the 2018 Thor Miramar 35.2 and immediately the super slide failed. All the Schwintek Slide tracks were replaced, both slide motors and the slide frame. To make matters worse I found out the slide frame was never shimmed properly, HOW THE *** could that pass inspections during building. My second slide also failed and had both motors and tracks replaced. I will give credit to La Mesa RV in Davis that they were very good about fixing the problems with little or no cost to me. Thank god I bought an extended warranty. I figure they have spent 8K in fixing these problems.

User's recommendation: Don't buy a motorhone with Schwintek Slide.........EVER!!!!!!!!

Poor quality in two rv's

bought a new 25 foot with a real slide. it would not retract so I drove it back to the dealer & was told I had to push the retract button 6 times. what a lousy system. the front seat had to be pushed on a 45 degree angle before turning it. bought a 2016 axis 24.1 with poor seat upholstering & the arm rest would not go up all the way, the windows on both sides were leaking which caused the wall to buckle

Bad toilet

Called dealer they were great. Waited two weeks no answer from Thor. Called customer service 4 times before they said they would upgrade the toilet. Great. Dealer contacted me said they would not pay for labor. Called Thor back get a rude employee and because this was the first time this was reported they arent paying for the labor. Coach is new laws than a year old. Poor service.

Warranty

Bought new 2018 freedom traveler a27 class A in 2018 and stereo would not work and they stated they replaced it and I looked at serial number in my paper work and it's still the same stereo. Driver side window that slides leaks water in and still leaks after taking back 6 times cause water is leaking on fuse box panel. Front windshield leaks at the top and water pours on my dash. Control panel flashing 9 times states short in hall ground still not fixed after 6 times going. Bedroom skylight has no screen on it when bought. Skylight in shower leaks water when we bought it. Front decals by headlight both sides split and shredding ( they said it's neglect from me. What ever.) When slides are out or in and it rains it comes in from top and bottom of the slides. Front end was supposed to be aligned when come from factory and Camping World said they couldn't do that I have to but it states it under the driver window. I'm not happy as you can tell. I see Lawsuit coming.

Stay aware from Thor industries brands(keystone rv's)

Thor allows their manufacturers of Keystone Rvs to place misleading/deceptive labels on their products! I have an rv that is labeled( Artic Package included), when in fact there isn't artic preparation included! Thor industries allows Keystone to sell these units knowing there wasn't any additional preparation done, with the exclusion of 3 tank heaters. That doesn't help keep the inside warm! Keystone manufacturing doesn't use actual cold/hot weather scenarios to make sure that the heating/cooling systems placed in their products are actually sufficient for the environment the owner actually encounters! Buyer beware!

Stay aware from Thor industries brands(keystone rv's)

I have a 2018 keystone Montana high Country 362RD, and Keystone is unwilling to assist a disabled veteran in resolving the heating/cooling issues I have with my rv. Keystone owner's relations (Mr Steinert) is aware that this is my residence and is on blocks for leveling, and is still requiring that this rv has to be taken to an authorized keystone service representative. I have informed Mr Steinert, there is an authorized keystone mobile technician here in the area but keystone is unwilling to pay for technician to troubleshoot my issues. Mr Steinert has closed my case because of this situation. If this is how Thor industries treats the veterans who served proudly, then they don't our patronage or the money we can spend there!

I am contacting you about our 2018 ARIA . As we have had multiple issues with this coach , with slides not working properly if at all ,refrigerator falling into the slide , walls popping loose in the mid coach bath and the bedroom and tile falling off the walls in the kitchen and floor tiles marred by the slides as well as the rear bathroom mirror falling off the wall , I have had to have the entire floor of the water tank compartment and the right side front storage compartment replaced as the original floors rotted out, mind you this coach is less than two years old. Now the inside of the main entrance door is so discolored as to be almost yellow and the driver and passenger seats are starting to peel. Information from other THOR owners implies that this is not an isolated incident.I am contacting you in hopes that THOR will take a stand behind their name and reputation and do something about this poor workmanship and substandard materials delivered in their coaches especially for the prices paid for them. As these problems continue to point to the workmanship and materials and so far THORS lack of concern and communication I find it harder and harder to express my confidence in a THOR product to any other potential buyers when the company itself declines to stand by their product. I am hoping that Thor will step up and back their product. Please let me know what can be done. The vin number for our coach is 4UZACHFC1JCJW6762 FREDERICK E. WOLKEN

Do not order parts without total cost with shipping. They are sneaky snakes

Ordered parts for our RV. I had to go through a Dealer so I chose Total Value RV out of Elkhart, IN. I received the total of around $1695.39 plus shipping cost so I agree (thinking $200 max) When I received alert for my credit card was charged $2533.26. So that is $837.87 shipping.... Really, Im so disappointed in this company Thor. So to others out there.... Beware, Very dishonest company. They can make money off product. I dont think they need to gouge consumer

Don't buy From Thor Or Camping World

Bought a new 2019 Thor Windsport 35m on June 4th. On June 5th we called camping world and told them about all the problems we found with the unit just on the way home. CW said wait 90 days and then bring it in so we did just that now it is November and we have over 30 items that need fixed and Thor is refusing to fix any of them. I have called Thor customer service many times along with CW customer service and they blame each other.

I also bought a 2018 thor windsport 35m June 2018 and it is a piece of junk that I have turned over to an attorney to try to get my money back!! I am not a happy camper because I am still making payments, paying insurance and buying a tag for something I can't use.

Numerus water leaks, floor coming up.

genstart never worked, jacks never worked right and other stuff never fixed right by camping world of Calera AL. JUST A PIECE OF JUNK....LEMON

013 hurricane 32a .Called customer care said there was nothing they could do about this problem. Tried to find out if they would be going after the company the made this material, was told not that they no of. Looks like they have known about this for awhile and still did nothing. Wont be buying any of there products again, prefer to buy from a company that's proud of what they place in there rv's.

Problems with kitchen sink, plumbing under sink is leaking.

I’ve had my unit 2 weeks, an A.C.E. 27.2. Noticed leak in water pipes under kitchen sink. Called Dealer and was told I could bring it in to them in 2 weeks but might take awhile to fix. Not happy, bought at MHSRV in Alvarado and I have to stay in motel while they fix. Should have been checked prior to delivery....driven 80 miles!!!

Bedroom wall/partion totally collapsed to the floor while door was closed

The entire wall/partition between the bedroom and the rest of the coach actually collapsed to the floor while the door was closed, trapping us in the bedroom. Totally terrifying experience.
