I received a call from Thor’s customer relations and they also seemed a bit upset about Camping Worlds handling of the motorhome. They contacted Poulsbo Rv and they are now working on the motorhome.

Poulsbo RV stated that they have done numerous “rescues” from clients of Camping Worlds service. we will see if this corrects the problems

I bought a new 2018 Thor Hurricane 34P from Idaho Falls Camping World. When I flew there from Seattle to purchase it I ha a Dish Satellite in stalled and I was given a tour of the motor home. There were some stress cracks on the rear cap that I was told would be fixed by the Fife Camping World and it would only take a couple of weeks. We went in to se the bed that drops down over the driver and it had a few problems. It was taken back to Service and when it was brought back out they said it only needed some adjustment. I finished the paperwork and off I went. On the freeway back to the Seattle area I hit a bump and the bed dropped almost 10 inches above my head. I tried fro approximately 1/2 to work the bed back up so I could put in the safety pins that the service guys had left out. I got home and tried setting up the Satellite system that I had bought and continually got errors. I called the nearest Camping World in Fife to get the back cap fixed before the trip had planned and was told that they do not do Warranty work and I would have to go a 200 round trip to Burlington Camping World that will do warranty work. 1/26/2019 I took it up there and the Service person marked the drawers that kept opening while driving, marked the entry door that I had to use my knee to open, and marked the bed that had dropped and marked the back cap that had the stress marks. He also marked the dome lights up front the only came on when you hit a bump. 4/12/2019 I finally get to pick up my new motorhome. They bring it around front, I jump in and drive off. The radio is not working. I called and my house batteries had died while the motorhome sat waiting for the back cap. The batteries had to be jumped and by golly I now have radio but The bed doesn't work, (by the way they said the railings were coming off the walls so what did the Idaho service guys do?) The slides don't go out???????, The front dome lights that were replaced wouldn't come on. Oh yes they did when I hit another bump but then went out again. Satellite still not working. I called Dish and he said it sounded as if it wasn't hooked up right. Now its time to look at the Lemon law so I need to get an attorney on Monday because another trip that I prepaid for is going down the toilet and I don't hear Thor (who I sent a review to) or Camping World coming up with any solutions that will not cost me more time off and loss of revenue. Post your story on YELP-Thor Motor Coach- Elkhart IN and write an email to 60m@***.com, there is also a Facebook group Thor Issues and complaints. At some point national media will do a story.

So glad that bed didn’t fall down and cause harm to you and other drivers. Hopefully it won’t be the story that finally gets regulations on MH enforced!

Stupid engineers

The engine battery is under the windshield without an access panel and the front tire has to be removed for access to it. The sewer compartment door is very small without a handle on it for easy opening. Also it is very difficult to attach the drainage tubing because it is so close to the bottom of the compartment and the tubing then has to go up and over the lip of the compartment which results in the tanks not emptying fully The underbed storage areas are inaccessible because the TV is mounted in a way that you can't lift the mattress more than 3 inches. Being ignored!

With any manufacturer there will be problems! Forget warranties, they are worthless! Inspect, Inspect, Inspect! Walk away if you have concerns at your walk through! Hire an inspector! I had 2 issues my Aspen Trail and have never heard from customer service.

I purchased a 1998 Tahoe Lite 19 ft travel trailer by Thor the pink slip was lost in a house fire and I could not get in touch with the person that I bought it from although I know his name and that he was from Colorado the plate seems to have been removed from the front of the trailer and I need the VIN number to put it in my name so I can sell it is there some place on this trailer or I can find the VIN number I have no paperwork no bill of sale I know the sale was legit because I did have the pink slip in hand at one time but I'm caught between a rock and a hard place trying to sell it because I have no VIN number also I don't even think it came with a license plate what can I do as I am in desperate need of a way to sell it so that I can get back home please contact me as soon as possible thank you so much

5TH FULL WALL SLIDE FAILURE

Have all the emails with Thor reps from 2015 to present. Have all repair invoices from 2015 through present.Mentioned getting legal advice and got thrown under the bus with YOUR OUT OF WARRANTY!

Really? We were out of warranty for previous fixes by THOR on this problem.

Guess when you try to protect yourself, they are done with you!So here we go. States Attorney General for NC/IN/SD - done.Waiting on a consultation with a Consumer Protection Attorney.

Purchased 2014 Thor Palazzo Motor Coach 33.2, in Feb 2014, Camping World, Spartanburg, SC. To date, the full wall slide out has failed FIVE (5) times since purchase! And it fails the same way every time! 1. Fixed Camping World, Chattanooga TN - Mar 2015 2. Fixed Thor Factory - Wakarusa, IN - Oct 2015 3. Fixed Thor Factory - Wakarusa, IN - Oct 2016 4. Fixed Camping World - New Braunfuls, TX - Dec-2017 to Jan-2018 We are now in Chesterfield, VA and the slide out has failed again! The full wall slide is out and will not retract. Contacted the Factory Service Center. They won't do anything, not send a rep, nothing until WE get the slide in and get it to a repair facility AT OUR EXPENSE, AGAIN! At what point does a repair stop being the consumers fault and is called a factory defect! Five (5) times failed/repaired for the same issue. Coach has approx 22000 miles in 4 yours. We have been "strung" along by Thor Ind. pass the warranty, pass any lemon laws both state and federal. We have contacted lawyers and no one will even write letters on our behalf because they won't make any money on a case!

I have a 2014 Hurricane 34j with full wall slide. The slide was repaired before the MH was 12 month old.

Now, 5 years later the schwintek system has failed again.

It cost $1500.00 each time its repaired. It's only a matter of before Thor will face some large class action lawsuits due to poor design, cheap material, and terrible workmanship.

We feel your pain! Thor has quality issues covering every inch of their RV's!

Slides, Steps, Leveling Jacks and over cab beds especially because Lippert Components are unreliable and prone to continuous failure! Please post your review on Yelp /Thor Motor Coach , Elkhart, IN! Read all the reviews.

Hi, same problem with a 2018 Gemini, falling apart like a cheap suit , very poorly put together , and no help from Thor! I gave up and am fixing things myself, Ford customer care sucks also !

Camping world i Hampton Roads Va, poor service also, mostly in the sales dept. Just sayin!

Bought a brand new 2017 for which had so many problems that we traded It in 6 months and lost $9000 bought a slightly used 2017 outlaw with 1500 miles on it and it is worse than the 1st one Rusting totally through the bottom

I met a gal who had a brand new Thor at a campground in AZ. She has a list of sixteen items, some big and some smaller.

Customer service has been terrible both from the manufacturer and from the dealer she bought it from.

I was shocked to hear of what they have put her through with no resolution. I would not buy this product!

2018 Thor aria 3901

I brought a 2018 Thor aria in May of 2017. The coach has been in the shop for 280 day in the first year. In the first 16 months it has been in the shop for over 300 days. It is still in the shop. No warranty now. I may can raise goldfish in the bottom compartments. Still not fixed. I try to tell people in any campground what a piece of junk Thor rvs are. I also try to go to any rv shows to tell the people not to buy Thor and tell them what has happened to me. I know I have had at least 10 people who were looking at Thor motor homes and changed their minds about a Thor rv.

After owning and finally paying off the Thor Chateau. We can now afford fixing all the broken things on it after 15 years.

It only has 25,000 miles. The Ford chasie on the class C is really great.

As for the rest of the materials in the RV product it is *** plain and simple. I tell everyone who considers to buy a motorhome like this Thor product, simply not to!!!!

My husband and I purchased a Thor motorcoach 2018, 2 months ago. The side also is faulty.

It hangs up every time we try to close it. The whole coach as so many large empty areas that we can feel frozen air everywhere and have to try to block the air holes with towels and blankets. The washer and dryer that we purchase for them to install before taking ownership, makes he whole side go up and down when used and the light in the dining area shakes unbelievable! The worst problem, it is full of so much cheap products that it has high levels of formaldehyde in it and I have been poisoned from it.

We feel forced to get out of it, traded yesterday for another brand. We haven’t made the exchange because we have to let the new coach be prepared to take ownership of it. I continue to get worse each day with the poison. We have lost at least 45,000.00 in the two months of buying this piece of *** It has completely ruined my health.

I would definitely encourage everyone to NEVER BUY A THOR COACH! You might as well throw your money and dreams completely away!

So glad you have posted this - we have now been forced to hire an attorney to help us. Our 2019 Thor was purchased in July of this year (2018) and it has been in the shop 90% of that time for water leaking in the unit from the slides.

This purchase has been the biggest disappointment we have ever made! We had a perfectly good Coachmen Mirada and wish we had it back!!! The modifications the techs have made to our unit have only made it look worse and it is still LEAKING WATER when the slides are out and when we pull them in. THOR IS TRYING TO TELL US THIS IS NORMAL!!!

WHATEVER! We have lost so much sleep and had so much stress over this unit we are just about done RV'ing!@!@!@!

Our journey is quicker than yours but we knew within months the product was not suitable for consumers yet.

Twisted frame

We have a 2017 Thor Vegas Class C RV that has a pronounced lean to the cab on the front drivers side. Two professional RV and Auto Body companies have, per Thor instructions, measured and found the unit to indeed be leaning as a result of the twisted frame. Thor has repeatedly ignored us and are apparently hoping we will go away. We have filed a Lemon Law suit and are awaiting their response. Thors lack of customer service is very disappointing and annoying. We would love to hear from any owners who may have experienced this same issue; leaning cab and/or twisted frame. Barb in OR

Got home extended the slider, ran water in the sink, water all over the floor. They way the hooked up the hose to the connection to the gray tank looked like it was done by children. You could tell it happened before as there was glue on the fittings. Must be a union company. The hookup to drain your tanks to sewer my god. You have to leave the door open as the didn't line up the removable cover underneath with the pipe. For a brand new 2019 Thor Forwinds 31Y there was saw dust everywhere. Camping World in Roseville, Ca is just as bad. If I was Ford Motor Company I would never allow another Thor product to be put on my units.

Same issues with my 2018 Gemini, definitely put together with child labor, glue everywhere ,inside and out, they went nuts with a glue gun and caulking, missed most of the joints on the roof! After picking the unit up, the cabinet door under the sink fell off, slide messes up all the time, interior light cover fell off , water heater sucks Etc, etc etc,
