Brand new 2015 windsport 32n in shop more then on the road!

Where to begin bought brand new and has been at the shop more then at my house! First on the drive home from dealer 2 hrs away the front end sounded like it had a broke shock! Took to Ford dealer shocks where never tighten down! Mechanic said was surprised they didn't fall off! Next problem drivers seat would shut off and no water washer fluid would come out! Took to camping world (whole pain in the butt dealing with them) fixed took for ever! Now the slide leaks when closed looked on line and saw this happens a lot in the rush to put the slide in they didn't chaulk it properly! Found on YouTube how to fix it ordered stuff off line fixing it myself! We bought this RV to try and see if we would enjoy rather rv lifestyle. Then move up to a Diesel Pusher! Thor sent me a questionnaire about the rv I listed all the problems and receipts from the dealers and told them how disappointed I was with the rv they didn't call but sent back a letter stating how sorry they were no call nothing just Oh we sorry but to bad SUCKER! I'm planning a trip to Teax this summer to MHS biggest dealer in US hopefully I can get at least enough to pay off on a new DP! If I have to eat some money I will. Never will deal with Thor or Camping World Again!

Worst Mistake Ever

There isn't enough room to list all the issues with my rig. Every system has failed at least once. I have owned my Challenger for 8 months and it has been in the shop for 6 of those. Finally got it back again & took it out. The 12V system has failed now. I just discovered that the 4" pipe that should be connected to the black tank is attached to the grey water, the 2" pipe for the grey water is connect to the black. They are even marked backwards! BACKWARDS who puts together a product BACKWARDS?????? Do not purchase a @Thormotorhome

Oh I hear ya. They didn't put enough bolts on our chassis so the brackets bent causing the floor to cave.

We had it 6 weeks and put maybe 300 miles on it, slept in it 3 times. They've had it for 2 months now, still there.

Oh and Ford forgot some gaskets and the heater was missing a switch. I told them if it shows up in my driveway now I'm painting a lemon on the back of it so I can share my feelings for them.

We purchased our Challenger in January and took it out..only to list several issues. It has been in for service 6 weeks..picked it up Saturday and some issues were not corrected...and found new ones.

Headed back Friday! We are not happy campers!

2015 Thor Four Winds 22E Review

Purchase a 2015 thor 22e four winds .very sloppy workmanship. Hole in shower stall , tried to cover up with silicone. Didn't even seal outside stall.

We've had our 2015 for 6 weeks, Thor in Elkhart, IN 2 months. I'm getting my money back or will paint a lemon on the back.

We have 4 Great Danes so people will talk. The Lemon with 4 Great Danes and a Yorkie going coast to coast. If nothing else I'm going to make enough noise so they suffer in sales.

I'm going to be loud and share on social median. Quality over quantity would be a change for them.

Very Quality Manufacture

Purchased 2014 Thor ACE 30.1 in March of 2014. Biggest mistake of my like. Great design, no give a darn assembly. Big scare was the front cap started to come off. Now, that will get your attention, but not Thor's attention. They do not seem to give a rats fuzzy bottom about all my problems. Windshield wipers did not cover the drivers side. Windshield washers did not work. Hydraulic leak on levelers and then complete blowout of one of the lines. Fluid all over the place. Had to use the owners manual a lot to get the jacks back up. Many other problems. Shower surround bulging out from wall, edge banding on counters coming off, heat ducts full of sawdust, drawers opening during travel. We camped 37 days and had the coach into camping world for over 60 some days. Missed several camping events we had planned. Had two signs made up. One to go into the front window of the coach, when at the campground and one that shows in the back window at all times. The signs cover the windows, they are large. The sign in the back window reads," We will never purchase another Thor Motor Coach." The sign for the front window has Thor Motor Coach written across the sign with a big red circle with diagonal slash through the circle. The circle and slash is an international symbol for "Do not got there." I sent photos to 3 Thor sales managers for 3 different divisions of Thor, along with one person from Customer Service. Only one replay, and it did not even say that hey were sorry for my problems. I did not mention them all here.

If we ever get ours back from the factory after 60 days it will have a huge lemon painted on the back for the world to see. People notice when your traveling with 4 Great Danes and a Yorkie coast to coast in a "Lemon".

Worst made hunk of metal.

Update: Thor Manufacturing is still not responsive to fixing the problem. Camping World has an out in the purchase agreement you sign.

It states they are not responsible for any Manufacturing Warranty issues.

Maybe we all need to get together and place a class action lawsuit against Thor, by the way it is not even American Owned. It is a foreign corporation.

I find this as a poor excuse to do poor quality work. The company seems to have a very poor quality control dept.

We bought a 2013 Tuscany 42wx new in Oct 2014 and it has been at the dealer for the whole time except for two weekends, the slide outs don't work and there are numerous small problems that should have been found at the factory before it ever left. We are hoping the factory can get things fixed because the dealer does not seem to be able or want to fix them.

2012 Thor Hurricane Air leaks in living room slide.[VIN#1465F5DY3C0A03192]

We were camping at Syracuse, NY early in October and noticed cold air coming in under the couch. The heater ran excessively during our stay. When returning home my husband reported a strong draft from the front slide above his head. Our mechanic looked at the problem and states it is a problem with the Swintec slide manufacturer. There are key-shaped openings to the outside allowing air to come in, in the slide. This would not be a problem if we only camped in warm months, but we had intended traveling year-round. What can be done to remedy this problem?

Purchase of Thor Motor Home from Camping World

I purchased a Tuscany 40FX from Camping World in Denver, CO. Worst experience in my life. I have been a full timer since 1982, so I am used to the poor quality and slipshod work. Airstream was purchased by Thor several years ago. None of Airstreams reputation comes from anything Thor contributed. MY only saving grace was to find a Thor Dealer I Grass Valley, CA. DeMartini RV. They have been wonderful and I have had outstanding service from them from the minute I drove in. Why we don't interview service managers before we buy is beyond me. Once we have made the purchase, that's the last we see of the sales person and now we have to deal with the service department. I love my Tuscany and since finding DeMartini everything seems to be OK. Camping World had nothing to do with my satisfaction.

De Martini no different than the rest. Service is great there I agree, but purchase from them and once your Thor starts to fall apart (within days after our purchase) sales/owners want nothing to do with you other than make sure you pay your service bill before you get the keys back.

2015 Thor Chateau-Been in the shop more than camping.

Purchased a brand new 2015 Thor Chateau for Camping World in Myrtle Beach, SC. First off the customer service the after the purchase has been terrible. I would never buy another coach from them and I have purchased many in my 25 years. We have owned our coach 8 weeks and Camping World has had it all but 2 weekends. It has an electric awning. It goes out just fine but will not go back up unless you are pushing it. During a wind our first weekend, we had to get a ladder out and hand roll it up while pushing the button. It also sticks out too far when closed. A good wind is going to catch it while going down the road and we will lose it. The black and grey tank meter wires were crossed. It took us complaining after both weekends for them to finally have a mechanic that knew what he was doing to see that the wires were reversed. It has a regular full size home refrigerator so the doors keep flying open. Camping World has suggested Velcro. Poor is all I can say about Thor and Camping World. I will never ever purchase from them again. This will probably be the quickest trade in ever.
