This is so helpful. I am sorry you are going through this.

I am ready to retire and I am an amputee with many friends in USAA and disabled groups.

The last thing we need is garbage like this. Thor might have screwed you; however you can take heart that this review will prevent many people from buying their garbage.

It's funny these recurring complaints about Thor.... Not really, especially for middle-aged yung RV owners, like my wife and I, who mortgaged part of their financial well being to enjoy family time RVing...

Seems like a recurring issue where Thor has not responded to customer concerns. I have had issues with our 2017 Miramar 34.3 (mostly super-slide issues) where we have been back to the dealer three times already to fix issues. It has been a constant headache with very little communication from Thor thus far. And as younger RVers - we don't have the time to travel to Indiana for weeks for a fix.

I would love to find positive experiences, and realize that the positives don't usually make the internet.

But trying to stay optimistic that Thor and the Dealer, Longview RV, will be able to fix our issues (running out of warranty time). Would love to make a positive comment for Thor - - but definately not there yet......

Sorry to hear this as we were excited about getting a 37rb. Downloaded their "owners manual" and was astonished on the lack of warranty and how just about everything is covered by some other manufacturer other than Thor.

2007 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Kodiak Rv Review

Thor Industries - 2013 Thor Motor Coach Daybreak Rv Review from Delphos, Ohio

THOR refused to stand behind their product..our THOR, Daybreak 2013, has front end structure issues..we started by noticing the band that covers the front dog house to the side wheel panel, has separated from the two pieces.The seperation was bowed 14 inches long with 1/8 to 1/4 inch pulled away. The dash started making a LOT of noise, even on smooth surfaces.We never had any noise before. When making any turn, left or right the dash noise was even louder. The front dog house was dropping. Our dealer found that the dash was only held on by 3 short screws..these 3 screws broke causing the dash to move sideways every turn we made, also causing a shift in the dog house to the sides. Of the supposed 18 screws along the support for the two front dog house pieces, 4 screws on both sides...right where the visible seperation occured...were broken. The lack of manufacturing assembly, the fact that only 3 short screws were used to hold the entire dash and side braces on to the firewall, is definitely the greatest engineering failure imaginable . We were at risk of the entire front dog house dropping, causing the windshield to pop out as we were driving down the road.THOR refused to take any responsibility for their poor manufacturering. Our coach is only on its 3rd summer .With major defects, life endangering manufacturing. We had to pay the entire bill to fix THOR'S defective manufacturering. WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE A THOR PRODUCT. .beware. Thor just purchased Jayco RV.

Family From Miami Victims of Fraud by Thor!

It's difficult to believe that a company with such a reputation as THOR has stolen $350,000.00 and not given me any real explanation. When I came to the United States, I never thought I had a chance to buy a mobile home, it was just a dream that passed through my head. My story has always been to work to support my family. My dream of buying a Motor Home was born from the moment I understood it was time for families to enjoy together. For 20 years, I saw my daughters grow, never stopping to enjoy time with them and my wife, that was one of the reasons to buy this mobile home. I have seen THOR's ad's from social networks which depicted them as part of the history of the American family. But what does a person like me know about advertising, a man who has worked all his life, a Hispanic-Latin, Cuban man, who did not learn English because I had a family to feed and bills that would not wait. Since coming to the United States, I always knew it was a perfect society and that it would never fail me. I believed blindly in this belief and to this day I still believe it even though, they have betrayed me. I can't stop thinking whether because I'm latino I was manipulated by Thor. That because I could not speak English, THOR had taken advantage of me, that because being Latin, from the first day they gave me a defective RV of which they had to remove pieces of another mobile home to make it work. Ignorant of what was happening, I brought it to my house in Miami without knowing that my dream would destroy me. The biggest surprise was when I turned on the air conditioning, and it seemed that it was raining inside my motor home, I began to call the company THOR and exchange e-mails that my daughters translated for me. As a result of this, I knew that sending emails and phone calls were not going to get my motor home fixed. Leaving me with no other option, I had to take the RV to Indiana where THOR has its headquarters. The Thor engineers recognized that there had been an error made when they built my motor home, they told me verbally and via email that the gasket for the air conditioner was never installed and for that reason all the water from the air conditioner, all the rain, and melting snow when it was located in the north, came through the ceiling through the walls, reaching to the floor damaging the structure, walls, console, ceiling, floor, electricity etc. resulting in a useless RV. In their own words, the engineers of THOR, recognized from the beginning that this was a manufacturer problem, a DEFECTIVE motor home and apparently someone did not like being told the truth that day, and me and my family ended up being threaten to leave Thor's facilities. After speaking with a Representative of Thor, and with my frustration of not resolving anything, they convince me to leave my RV there, destroying my dream, and went back home. Till this day, it's been 8 months since my RV is in Indiana and they do not want to exchange the RV or give me my money back. I paid $120,000.00 as down payment, and have made over 12 installments, in addition to paying insurance. For something that never, but never have been able to enjoy; the RV has just left my parking for the workshop by request of the company Thor, all they want to give me is a repaired or rebuilt RV because the damage is still there on the walls, on the floor, and continue to damage the electrical components. This RV has lost the title of being new, to a title of "rebuilt", and I bought a new RV. I don't know if it's that because I'm from a Hispanic/ Latino background, that I'm not getting the respect that I should be given, or actually they do not accept our Latino-Hispanic community and what they are doing to me is the true feeling of what they do with all Latinos seeking the dream of owning a mobile home. I hope you give me an answer, and in Spanish, please not through email or through your attorney. I have not disrespected anyone, not I've damaged the families of Thor, as THOR has done with mine, I have not sought to damage Thor's reputation, I have had all the patience, which I never thought to have, but today I woke up tired of being abused, tired of not talking, tired of a company that has robbed me, not only my money, but my dream of being with my family on the road and knowing that if I die tomorrow, my children will have memories of their father, because as children, I couldn't take the time to be with them because I was too busy providing for them and giving them the best education to make them well for our American society. Lemon is Right - Thor Leaves a Bad Taste in Your Mouth!!

Purchased a 2016 Thor ACE 27.1 on 3/26/2016, have used it 1 time, we have 3 pages of things wrong with it from doors not staying closed to leaking ceiling filling light fixture with water to bathroom wall out of line by 1 inch -fiberglass front end is held on by only 2 of 8 required screws, outside side molding has screw stuck in it covered by clear caulking, vinyl flooring is good quality if they hadn't laid it down over screws and junk which are not causing lumps and bumps in it, under driver dash heat duct was just a rubber hose hanging down (not finished off with a vent),under carriage water, sewer and propane hoses dangling and so on, their customer service is just lip service, they were to send techs to our local Camping World to go over the unit but never showed, their excuse, "we forgot" - we even sent a certified letter to Bob Martin, CEO/Pres. of Thor Motor Coach but to date have not had the courtesy of a reply (our certified receipt came back so I know they received our letter) - can't believe they are still in business and getting rave industry and stock market reviews - we have contacted Burdge Law Firm in Dayton, Ohio regarding a lemon law suit (they specialize in lemon law cases and have had several involving Thor) - has anyone noticed the HUGE Thor inventory on RV lots? I wonder why? Don't even think of trading a Thor in, we tried it and they don't want to give you "squat", again I wonder why?

Thor Four Winds 22E

bought new June 2015 and have only had 4 outings in it. Was really satisfied until I had to fix curtain pulls on 2 of the windows. Now I have a big lower drawer that the track has pulled off. This is a problem I can't fix myself. Am not happy right now. We take extremely good care of our things and coming from a travel trailer to the RV Ford we was very excited. Now I'm wondering why we didn't just stay with our older travel trailer that we had for many years with no problems! I cannot fix this problem myself and the inconvenienc of having to go somewhere to take care of this is a plan that I am not happy with. If we have to leave the unit somewhere I do not have a vehicle I can drive home with and with a unit this new I cannot understand why we have this problem. I take extremely good care of our things and was counting on keeping this unit as my retirement unit, but if I am having problems now, what can I expect in the future?

We purchase 2016 thor 30.1.....Like everyones else has complained we have a list of items that fall apart..misaligned..screws falling out all over. Leakes at shower and..Doors that jamand you can't open.. cargo doors leaking and falling apart ect. ect.ect..n Camping world has had r.v more than us...Never see such godawlful workmanship. in my life.... Then camping world doesn't listen to help w/ them..They make u feel like your the problem as does THOR... I will agree with everything you have stated. I have the same unit and here is my list of things that have gone wrong.

Generator overheats

Tv's do not work appropriately

Shower leaks

Camera's in mirror stopped working

AC does not cool down RV Cabinets falling apart toilet seal leaking Slideouts hang up Vehicle sways all over the road whistle noises while driving windshield wipers stopped working during very bad storm I have contacted Camping World and Thor and they are useless.

I did purchase the extended warranty for 5k, tried to use it when are wipers broke and was trapped at a rest stop, they told me to wait till the rain stopped because the mechanics don't work in rain. I am frustrated with it and will be trading for something better even at a loss.
